Jin Shin Jyutsu, described as the Art Of Healing, is a Japanese based hands-on modality, comprising a series of 'flows' designed to improve circulation, organ function and harmonize the body, leading to a more balanced body, mind and soul. JSJ can be done remotely too.

The Lung Function Energy Flow is known to alleviate the symptoms of asthma, coughing, chest congestion, night perspiration, chills in shoulder and back area, upper arm and medial elbow aches. It relieves sadness in the body, and supports healthy organ function. It's thought to bring relief from grief - 'releasing the sob' from your chest.
How To Do A Lung Function Energy Flow: (Left Side)
- Place your left hand on the base of the left rib cage and rest your right hand on the center-left side of your clavicle (under the collarbone). Hold for 5-10mins, longer if possible.
- Reverse the sequence for a Lung Function Energy Flow: (Right Side)
- You have completed a full lung function energy cycle.
- It is recommended that you take the time to do a left and right side lung function energy flow once a day; this will assist your lungs to relax and open, receive more oxygen, and improve your circulation. Do this until you feel calmer, soothed, and your symptoms have eased.
Quick Tip: When in doubt - just hold your ring fingers for 3-5 mins each. Longer if you have time. You can safely practise 60mins of JSJ per day.
Better Tip: Place your thumbs over your ring finger nails (mudra) for 3-5mins. Longer if you have time.
